In 2008 Lewis was given, by his dad, a magic set from Hamley’s toy shop in London. A magician showed him how it worked and he was hooked!

Having honed his skills on friends and family and having also acquired numerous new tricks from my friends at Alakazam magic shop in Ashford, Kent, Lewis then decided to go a step further.

Lewis contacted world-famous magician Etienne Pradier, who agreed to meet him and teach him more tricks! Etienne was so impressed with Lewis' skills that he then invited me to perform with him and when he was unable to perform at the Marriott Hotel in London, Etienne suggested to the hotel management team that Lewis should take his place! Lewis was a resounding success.

By this time, Lewis had joined a branch of The Magic Circle 'The Young Magicians Club' (under eighteens). He also joined the Ashford Magic Club where he won an award for Best Performer against competition from nine other adult competitors.
